The aims and objectives includes but not limited to:
- Involved as a people; take responsibilities for ourselves & recognizing that only we can that only we can save environment.
- To promote environmental education through the existing education/scientific research institutes. Develop education /training materials and aids in the formal education sector
- To encourage non-governmental organization, mass media and other concerned organization for promoting awareness among the people at all levels.
- Ensure training and manpower development in environmental education.
- Mobilized people’s awareness for the preservation and conservation of the environment.
- Educate masses about their immediate environment and impact knowledge about the eco-system, their inter dependence & their need for survival. Still in them the spirit of scientific inquiry into environmental problem and involving them in the effort of environmental preservation.
- Create awareness and educate the people on garbage management and recycling.
- Propagate the reduction, re-use, & recycling of plastic bags.
- Encourage proper waste disposal.
