LNEC’s mission is to undertake, coordinate and promote scientific research and technological development, with the aim of promoting continuous improvement and good practice in Civil Engineering.

LNEC also persues the public interest through providing services of science and techonology to public and private, national and foreign entities, contributing to innovation, dissemination of knowledge and technology transfer.
