The Oberland-Ost regional conference includes the 28 municipalities of the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in Switzerland. It promotes and coordinates regional cooperation in the tasks assigned to it. The regional conference represents an important link between the municipalities and the cantonal and federal authorities.
It undertakes tasks related to landscape development (helping preserve the region’s cultural heritage in the long-term), traffic and settlement planning, and energy.
