University of Parakou

University of Parakou (UP) is located in Parakou, Borgou, Benin. It is locally known as Université de Parakou. The university was established in 2001. It is accredited by Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Benin.

The University of Parakou aims to:

• Train specialized managers for the needs of economic, social, intellectual and cultural development of the nation.
• Participate in the development of scientific research, fundamental and applied.
• Giving a boost to the national economy.
