Adaptation Analyst
Muriel is an Adaptation Analyst with the Global Climate Adaptation Partnership (GCAP), delivering adaptation solutions through project-based services, developing and providing support for the GCAP knowledge management platform on adaptation, and assisting in the building and running of the Adaptation Academy. Previously, Muriel worked as a Researcher for the University of Oxford (UK), the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (UK), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (USA). Muriel also has experience working as a self-employed consultant for different organisations (e.g. World Vision Australia, Oxford Analytica, Environment Europe).
Muriel has an extensive knowledge of water management and policy issues in Africa and Europe.
Muriel has several years of project experience working in various academic institutions in a variety of different fields related to adaptation. Her past experiences include working with ecosystem services, natural resources management, vulnerability and adaptation indicators, energy efficiency and management, low carbon futures, development and climate change as well as several other environmental fields.
