CIF´s Environmental Biotechnology research team works on development of natural resources appropriation strategies, as tools for climate change mitigation and adaptation. The team approaches this challenge by gathering social and public actors of a geographical unit – the basin, characterizing and analyzing agricultural and industrial uses of natural resources, and through concerted efforts developing sustainable production schemes.
