Cyprus Red cross
The Cyprus Red Cross is a volunteer-based humanitarian organization led by the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and its Articles of Association. It aims to help prevent and alleviate human suffering and respond to emergencies around the world in times of peace or war, without distinction of gender, gender, age, social status, religion or political position.
Its vision is to make the Cyprus Red Cross the most charitable humanitarian organization in Cyprus, in which every person chooses to contribute and who attracts people of all ages and backgrounds to volunteer. The organisation works with refugees, crisis management, psychosocial support, first aid, road safety and the environment, among others.
