Capacity needs for integrating climate and development planning
Dear colleagues,
Are you involved in NDC and/or SDG implementation? We would like to hear from you!
The Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development raise significant planning, policy and implementation challenges for the countries charged with achieving their aims. Both missions affect a complex array of social, technical, political and economic issues; and both require vigorous action now.
SEI’s work on Integrated Climate and Development Planning aims to help national practitioners in lower-income countries develop plans that account for synergies and trade-offs to reach both climate and development aims.
To understand how this support can best be delivered, we are surveying national stakeholders who are involved in NDC and/or SDG implementation to assess capacity development needs and preferences.
Responses to this survey will inform a legitimate, useful and workable plan that empowers participants to develop and deliver integrated NDC and SDG plans themselves.
You will find the link to the survey here. It will take about 15-20 minutes to answer. Responses will be held in strict confidence and will not be shared outside SEI. The anonymised results of the assessment will be made available to responders. Thank you in advance for sharing your opinions with us!
