VCA Climate Finance 101: Learning Dialogue Session 2: Challenges and Opportunities

Climate finance is a key lever for enabling climate action at the local level. The VCA is convening a two-part dialogue series in October 2023 to collectively explore the challenges and opportunities climate finance presents and the potential avenues of advocacy at various scales. Following on from the first session (17 October), the second session will take place on 31 October 2023 at 13h30 – 15h30 SAST. Key contributors will present the different kinds of climate finance as well as some VCA examples on engaging and accessing climate finance. A recording of the first session which introduced climate finance and the different climate finance mechanisms will be made available soon.

The session will be recorded and simultaneously interpreted in English, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Bahasa Indonesia.
