International Women’s Day 2017
Today, Wednesday 8 March, is International Women’s Day. It is a day to celebrate the achievements of women and to call on everyone to forge a more inclusive, gender equal world.
The Gender and Social Equity team on weADAPT want to hear from you!
We call on you to share your stories of women’s involvement in adaptation efforts and beyond, at all levels, across the entire globe, as part of the celebration of International Women’s Day.
Use this discussion forum to post your experiences and lessons of women’s involvement in adaptation decision-making, research, practice, community-level efforts and beyond. You may use the following questions as a guide:
- What are your personal experiences of women’s roles in adaptation?
- What did you learn from your experiences?
- What would you like to see achieved in the future?
We hope you engage in this discussion, converse with your peers, and learn something new about women in adaptation.
We aim to post all comments and forum posts, but will not post anything that we consider unrelated to the topic under discussion. Your comment will be reviewed before publishing.
