IPCC launches Seventh Round of Scholarship Awards

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has launched a call for applications for the 7th round of its scholarship awards. The call runs from 10 March to 2 April 2023.

Research proposals are encouraged from, but are not limited to, the following topics: living soils, biodiversity, regenerative viticulture, agroforestry, water management and the terrestrial carbon cycle.

Each scholarship award is for a maximum amount of €15,000 per year for up to two years during the period 2023-2025.

The IPCC Scholarship Programme was established with the funds received from the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize award to the IPCC. The Programme was further made possible through the generous contribution of its funding partners, including the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Cuomo Foundation.
