NAP-Ag Webinar: Mainstreaming gender in adaptation planning for the agriculture sectors

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), through the NAP-Ag Programme, is pleased to invite you to the webinar on “Mainstreaming gender in climate change adaptation plans for the agriculture sectors” which will be held on Thursday, 15 December from 15:00-16:30 (CET-Rome). The objectives of the webinar are to:

  • To raise awareness of the gender mainstreaming approach and gender-sensitive activities of the NAP-Ag programme;
  • To present concrete examples of how gender is being integrated into international (UNFCCC) and national climate change adaptation planning in agriculture; and
  • To facilitate the sharing of lessons and questions about gender equality, climate change adaptation planning, and agriculture which can inform activities under NAP-Ag and similar approaches.

If interested, we kindly request that you register for the webinar here: The webinar is being organized for stakeholders interested in learning more about how gender can be mainstreamed into adaptation planning, particularly those currently working in ministries of agriculture, environment, planning and finance. We are very much looking forward to your participation on Thursday, 15 December at 15:00 (CET).
