NCDM

The NCDM plays a central role in coordinating and supplying emergency aid to affected people. Key functions include: coordination with the ministries of the Royal Government of Cambodia, UN agencies, IOs, NGOs, international communities, national associations, and donors in emergency response and rehabilitation; provide recommendations and issue principles, main policies and warnings on disaster preparedness and management; dissemination of disaster management work to communities; and to put forward a proposal on reserves, funds, fuel, means of working, equipment and human resources for disaster prevention and intervention in emergency response and rehabilitation before, during, and after disasters.
