Prakriti is a group of young environment-development professionals that has been working in the Himalayan Mountains of India since it’s organization in year 1997, towards increasing awareness of environmental threats in the Himalayan region.
The major areas of Prakriti’s work are in environment and social development, and its areas of specific intervention are in climate change adaptation, livelihood promotion, water management, sanitation promotion, forest conservation and agricultural technologies.
