Sustainable building

The Indo-Swiss Building Energy Efficiency Project is a bilateral cooperation project aimed at mainstreaming energy-efficient and thermally comfortable building design in India.

In informal settlements of Greater Cairo a rooftop farming project was started in 2014, supported by GIZ. The results were promising, but technical and managerial problems still have to be solved.

These publications provide insights and learning on key topics in climate change mitigation, adaptation and sustainable development, and highlight areas for future research and policy development.

This report is the first comprehensive international assessment of lessons from experiences of pursuing green growth across all levels of government and all regions.
